Description

CockroachDB is a distributed SQL database designed for cloud applications, featuring horizontal scaling, automatic replication, and strong consistency. It is PostgreSQL-compatible and offers geo-partitioning, automatic sharding, and self-healing on node failures. Since late 2024, the free CockroachDB Core Edition has been discontinued. Only the Enterprise license is now available.
