Description
Signal is an end-to-end encrypted messenger developed by the non-profit Signal Foundation. It offers encrypted text messages, voice and video calls, group chats, and media sharing. The Signal Protocol is considered the gold standard for secure communication and is also used by other services. Signal collects minimal metadata, does not store message histories on servers, and offers features such as disappearing messages and screen lock.
