Vaultwarden (formerly Bitwarden_RS) is a lightweight implementation of the Bitwarden server API written in Rust. It enables self-hosting a full-featured password manager that is compatible with all official Bitwarden clients. Vaultwarden consumes significantly fewer resources than the official Bitwarden server while still offering all premium features such as TOTP, file attachments, and organizations. Ideal for individuals and small teams who want to manage their passwords themselves.
