WireGuard is an extremely lean and fast VPN protocol that uses state-of-the-art cryptography. With only around 4,000 lines of code, it is significantly easier to audit than older VPN solutions. WireGuard is integrated into the Linux kernel and delivers excellent performance with minimal latency. It is ideal for secure point-to-point connections and network tunnels.
